Choice Recovery

Choice Recovery Counseling is a private practice, substance abuse counseling agency, offering a non‐traditional approach to understanding and changing behaviors. Lacey Glueckert, Licensed Addiction Counselor, has been working in the substance abuse field since 2003. She utilizes Choice Theory and Reality Therapy, an approach that encourages people to evaluate their choices in terms of effective or ineffective rather than ‘good’ or ‘bad’. The primarily focus at the agency is building relationships, identifying more effective ways of meeting one's needs in recovery, and dealing effectively with external stresses.

Endeavor Sober Living

Endeavor Sober Living is a program designed to help people obtain and maintain a sober lifestyle. We have created a community of people who want to live this lifestyle and want to share their experiences to help others with their sobriety. We offer people a safe and open environment where they can get the help they need and deserve. Our program is a place where everyone involved is committed to doing all they can to help those in need. We follow the 12 steps and believe in sponsorship/mentorship as a fundamental priority for those in recovery. We assist those we work with by providing rides, re-establishing healthy family connections, and finding employment among many other things. We help teach basic life skills that many in early recovery lack, we help them re-integrate into society and we show them that living clean is fun and very rewarding.

In the sober living houses, we require residents to have a clean urine analysis and breathalyzer to move in. They are then required to take random U/As at the request of house managers throughout their time in sober living. They are required to attend AA or NA meetings regularly as well as the weekly house meetings. They must obtain gainful employment, pay rent and be responsible for personal necessities such as food and personal hygiene items.

We are connected with businesses in the community that provide employment and other opportunities for those that we work with. The McKenzie County Hospital is very accommodating for those that need to see doctors for issues that were put on the back burner while they were in active addiction. Our Doctor in the hospital’s rural health clinic has obtained training and certification to work with clients that are on a Suboxone regimen. We work closely with Providence House – a substance abuse treatment facility in McKenzie County that offers social detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services. Team members of Endeavor have leadership roles in the local/district AA and NA programs.

We do believe that Community Connect would be very beneficial to our established program and a very welcome addition to the Endeavor family. And we hope that by being able to reach those in need through Community Connect we will be able to start an earlier intervention and show people it’s possible to maintain a happy, joyous and clean lifestyle.

F5 Project

F5 Project provides transitional and re-entry support for those who were and are incarcerated before they are released. We pride ourselves on working on the inside to help bridge to the community. We believe in meeting the individual where they are at, and that sets us apart from other organizations in the same sector. We believe that by meeting the individual where they are at will help with character development, parenting, employment readiness, and social engagement.

We believe that not only is the person being transformed, but our community as well. That is why we have community meetings where our staff, the people coming out of incarceration and the community can engage one another and destroy stigmas. These connections heal worldviews, families, and communities. As part of the transition and re-entry support, we provide safe and affordable housing with peer mentorship. The peer will help with employment support, positive social networks, and transportation. A peer is defined as someone who was formerly incarcerated that has lived in the shoes of the person they are providing support for.

F5 Project works with the state of North Dakota on the Free Through Recovery program. Free Through Recovery (FTR) is a community-based behavioral health program designed to increase access to recovery support services for individuals engaged with the criminal justice system who have a serious behavioral health concern. Free Through Recovery is a partnership between the Department of Human Services and the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The mission of Free Through Recovery is to improve healthcare outcomes and reduce recidivism by delivering high-quality community behavioral health services linked with effective community supervision. The goals are to improve engagement in quality services and to provide access to individualized services that are responsive to each person’s specific needs.

F5 Project is proud to be joining the state of North Dakota and the North Dakota Department of Behavioral Health’s newest program, Community Connect. Community Connect helps pregnant women, families, caregivers, and individuals by providing a one-stop entry point for needed services, such as housing, employment, financial, parenting, physical health, and community connections.

F5 Project has homes in Fargo, Grand Forks, Bismarck and Moorhead, MN. We offer care coordination for Free Through Recovery (FTR) and Community Connect and peer support services in Fargo, Grand Forks, Bismarck, Jamestown, Dickinson, Minot, and Williston.
