North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services (NDHHS), Disease Control and Forensic Pathology Section can receive electronic messages from healthcare facilities. This allows facilities to easily report data on reportable conditions. It also helps eligible hospitals and clinicians meet requirements for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Promoting Interoperability Program.
Facilities can meet Promoting Interoperability objectives by submitting the following data electronically to NDHHS:
- Syndromic surveillance
- Electronic laboratory results
- Electronic case reports
- Immunization reporting
