Our Goal
To unite early childhood coaches under a shared vision. This work ensures that:
Every coach is equipped to lead meaningful change.
Every early childhood professional receives personalized support.
Every child benefits from high-quality early childhood experiences.
Together, we are building a more connected, consistent, and effective coaching system statewide.
Our Areas of Focus
Improve the Quality of Early Childhood Experiences
We raise the quality of care statewide by using a coaching framework that is grounded in evidence-based practices. Our coaches support providers in meeting and exceeding standards for health, safety, learning environments, and inclusive practices.
Support and Strengthen the Early Childhood Workforce
We invest in the workforce by offering ongoing coaching and support, specialized training opportunities, and access to financial incentives and resources.
Enhance Compliance and Sustainability
We help programs understand and navigate licensing requirements, funding and subsidy systems, and implement sound business practices.
Coaching Competencies
Coaching Competencies are currently under development by the Coach Working Group (CWG). The purpose of the CWG is to review and revise existing qualifications; adopt a competency framework; and design a comprehensive training program for individuals providing technical assistance to North Dakota’s early childhood mixed delivery system.
This group advises and makes recommendations towards setting these standards, thereby enhancing the professionalism and expertise of those involved and ultimately benefiting the children and families of North Dakota.
