Did you know you may be eligible for a Workforce Registry Incentive?

During the last legislative session, the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) brought forward a bill to simplify several child care license types in state law. Instead of moving forward with the bill, the Legislature directed that the topic be studied further. 

Starting Jan. 12, 2026, HHS will begin offering incentives for completing specific ND Workforce Registry-approved trainings.

North Dakota Health and Human Services will be making updates to the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) in response to the rapid growth in program participants. To ensure the longevity of the program’s ability to effectively help working parents and child care providers, adjustments have been made to the benefits for families and bonuses for providers.
