Public comment sought on amendments to the Medicaid Autism Spectrum Disorder Waiver
North Dakota's 1915(c) Medicaid Waiver, Autism Spectrum Disorder Birth through age 17 is being amended to reflect recent North Dakota legislative changes. The Autism Spectrum Disorder Birth through age 17 waiver provides services to children between the ages of birth through 17 who have an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis. The goal of this waiver is to assist families in keeping their child home instead of placing them within a facility to receive needed services.

Public Notice: Amendment to Medicaid 1915(c) Children with Medically Fragile Needs Home and Community-Based Services Waiver
Public comment sought on an amendment to the Medicaid 1915(c) Children with Medically Fragile Needs Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver changing the age limit to 21.
The Medically Fragile Children’s Waiver currently provides services to children between the ages of three to 18 who are medically fragile. The goal of this waiver is to assist families in keeping their child home instead of having to place them in a nursing home or hospital to receive needed care.
Replacement benefits are available for SNAP participants who lost food due to power outages in ND counties affected by June storms

Public Notice - Medicaid State Plan Changes for July 1, 2025
Most North Dakota Medicaid providers will receive a two percent provider inflationary increase which are estimated to increase Medicaid expenditures effective for dates of services July 1, 2025. The increase was authorized and the funds for the increase were appropriated by the 2025 Legislative Assembly.
