Navigating training registration and workforce registry membership doesn’t have to be complicated. These quick tips highlight a few simple steps to make the process smoother and help you stay on track.

Tip 1: Register for training and get credit easily

When registering for professional development, make sure the training name matches exactly as it appears on the ND Early Childhood Training Calendar.

Some training sponsors may direct you to a general registration page. If this happens, search for the specific training name to ensure you sign up for the correct session.

Note: A training sponsor is a training organization or company that has been approved to provide training for North Dakota providers.

To receive credit for your training, be prepared to share:

  • Your Registry ID number (also known as your state ID number)
  • Your full first and last name
  • The same email address associated with your Registry account

Training organizations are responsible for awarding credit for events listed on the ND Early Childhood Training Calendar. They have 10 days to award credit after a training is completed.

Note: Registry staff cannot award credit for completed training. If you do not receive credit after 10 days, contact the training sponsor directly.

Tip 2: Understand Workforce Registry membership alerts

If you log in to the ND Early Childhood Hub after submitting your application to the Registry, you may see a membership alert. These alerts appear for two reasons:

  • To provide information about the current status of your account
  • To indicate that documentation is needed to process your application

Select the Membership Alerts button to view specific instructions. If you are not planning to send documentation, select the “I am not sending any documents” button. This will move your application into a quicker processing queue.
