The Legislative Management Study of Child Care Provider Licensing was created through House Bill 1119 during the 69th Legislative Session. The study reviewed childcare licensing laws, administrative rules, and policies. The legislative management study was required to include input from HHS, a childcare services advisory committee, and childcare providers.

HHS is offering grants to help early childhood programs support children with disabilities or developmental delays. The grant helps programs improve inclusive care and better meet the needs of children receiving services.
