Public comment sought on amendments to the Medicaid Autism Spectrum Disorder Waiver
North Dakota's 1915(c) Medicaid Waiver, Autism Spectrum Disorder Birth through age 17 is being amended to reflect recent North Dakota legislative changes. The Autism Spectrum Disorder Birth through age 17 waiver provides services to children between the ages of birth through 17 who have an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis. The goal of this waiver is to assist families in keeping their child home instead of placing them within a facility to receive needed services.

Public Notice: Amendment to Medicaid 1915(c) Children with Medically Fragile Needs Home and Community-Based Services Waiver
Public comment sought on an amendment to the Medicaid 1915(c) Children with Medically Fragile Needs Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver changing the age limit to 21.
The Medically Fragile Children’s Waiver currently provides services to children between the ages of three to 18 who are medically fragile. The goal of this waiver is to assist families in keeping their child home instead of having to place them in a nursing home or hospital to receive needed care.
