Devils Lake

As a Custodian you will perform custodial services for all assigned areas at the Regional Training Institute located on the Camp Grafton Training Center in Devils Lake, ND. Duties include providing consistent custodial services while adhering to safety practices and procedures. The following is a summary of the job responsibilities; this is not an all-inclusive list.The position of the Custodian is to assist the Custodial Supervisor in maintaining and restocking inventory supplies. You will perform cleaning of restrooms, hallways, classrooms, sweep, mop, scrub floors and other surfaces, vacuum and clean carpets and entrance mats, strip, seal and wax floors, wash windows etc.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and may be required to work some weekends or additional hours, if needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Successful completion of the interview process, reference checks and background investigation. Preference will be given to individuals with custodial experience.

This position is responsible for the oversight of one administrative office staff while upholding the mission of the agency "to provide high quality, professional, and effective legal representation to eligible clients, consistent with the guarantees of the constitutions of the United States and North Dakota, and applicable North Dakota statutes and rules, at reasonable cost to the community. The Devils Lake Public Defender Office is made up of this position and one administrative assistant to offer support while you build a meaningful career as a public defender. This position will require travel to all counties in the Northeast Judicial District and may provide conflict services in other jurisdictions. Minimum Qualifications

Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school Licensure as an attorney eligible to practice law in the State of North Dakota. Analytical and decision-making ability.

As a Seasonal Maintenance Worker you will be assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of the buildings and grounds at the Camp Grafton Training Center in Devils Lake, ND. Duties include providing consistent maintenance services while adhering to safety practices and procedures. The following is a summary of the job responsibilities; this is not an all-inclusive list.The position of a Seasonal Maintenance Worker is to assist the Maintenance Supervisor by maintaining the buildings and grounds on the training site. You will be mowing, trimming trees and shrubs, landscaping, maintaining sprinkler systems, painting, etc.In this position, you must have the ability to operate and use power tools, grounds maintenance equipment, work in varying weather conditions for extended periods of time, possess and maintain a valid driver's license and lift in excess of 25 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be 16 years of age or older, eligible to work in the United States and successfully complete the interview process, reference checks and background investigation. Preference will be given to those individuals that have experience in grounds keeping.
