Care for babies, kids and teens

North Dakota Medicaid works with health care providers to ensure that North Dakota children receive well-child screens. Well-child visits allow health care providers to make sure your child is healthy and growing and developing appropriately. They give parents and other caregivers a chance to ask questions and discuss concerns they may have.

an exam may include physical exam, vision screening, hearing screening, developmental and behavioral screening, dental screening including fluoride varnish and orthodontic screening, vaccinations, health education for parents and teens, substance use education and more

Sports physicals may now be covered by Medicaid. Save time by calling your provider to schedule a sports physical with your child's wellness check. Not only would your child benefit by having preventative services it would meet all of the requirements of the sports physical.
