Introducing the ND Early Childhood Hub
We’re excited to share some big news! The ND Early Childhood Hub is launching soon. This updated system will bring together the tools and services you already use—plus new features designed to make your work easier and more efficient.
Right now, many of you know the system as Growing Futures. That name is going away. Moving forward, everything will be part of the ND Early Childhood Hub, offering a more streamlined experience for everything from the Early Childhood Workforce Registry (Registry) to quality improvement, grants and incentives, resource and referral services, and more.
The Early Childhood Hub Will Make it Easier to:
- Access training, certifications, and career growth opportunities.
- Update your availability, pricing, and program details for families in real time.
- Apply for grants, incentives, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Find everything you need in one place — no more switching between different platforms!
What’s New?
- The Registry will become one of several core features within the ND Early Childhood Hub.
- A refreshed individual profile will greet you when you log in.
- Improved navigation will make it easier to explore both familiar and new features
- A new look and feel — with Health and Human Services branding — will gradually replace the Growing Futures name and color scheme.
The Early Childhood Hub will soft launch in mid-June, with more features rolling out over the next 12 to 18 months.
Upcoming Dates and Milestones
June 12: New Resource and Referral Module
A new tool within the ND Early Childhood Hub, the Resource and Referral Module will allow programs to log into their Registry accounts and easily update referral information.
Why it matters:
Keeping your program information current ensures families can find care that fits their needs — and gives policymakers better insight into your community’s child care landscape, helping guide future funding and support.
June 19: Early Childhood Workforce Registry Rebrand
The Registry, currently known as Growing Futures, is getting a new name, new look, and a more user-friendly experience.
What you’ll see:
- A refreshed individual profile will greet you when you log in.
- Streamlined navigation for easier profile management.
- Updated branding as we retire the Growing Futures name and launch the new Registry branding.
