Our local offices have professionals on site who can help people with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP/Food Stamps), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), heating assistance, Medicaid (including children's health services), basic care assistance, child care assistance, child welfare, and referrals to other programs.

HHS seeks comment on two Medicaid children’s waivers that expand access to services for qualifying children

North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) is now accepting public comment on proposed amendments to the state’s Medicaid autism spectrum disorder (ASD) waiver and the Medicaid waiver for medically fragile children. HHS is seeking federal approval to amend the waivers to reflect recent state legislative changes. Comments will be accepted through July 27, 2025, at 5 p.m. CT.
