BISMARCK, N.D. (SEPT. 18, 2026) – Gov. Kelly Armstrong will lead a beam signing ceremony for the new North Dakota State Hospital on Tuesday, Sept. 22, in Jamestown, celebrating the placement of the final structural beam. Joining the governor will be state legislators, North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) officials and community leaders. 

The new state-of-the-art facility will provide 140 treatment beds to serve those most in need of acute mental health services.

WHERE: North Dakota State Hospital, 2605 Circle Drive, Jamestown; the new site is located on the east side of 12th Ave. SE
