North Dakota Health and Human Services offices will have a two-hour delayed opening in Devils Lake, Rolla, Jamestown, Valley City, Minot and Williston today, Tuesday, Dec. 9, due to hazardous weather and road conditions. Affected offices include four of the agency’s regional behavioral health clinics and their satellite and outreach offices, and vocational rehabilitation and child support offices.   

IMPORTANT: People experiencing a behavioral health crisis should call the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline for immediate help. The crisis line is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week. 

AFFECTED OFFICES: 

Williston region: Northwest Behavioral Health Clinic and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Williston will be delayed.   

Devils Lake region: Lake Region Behavioral Health Clinic and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Devils Lake and its outreach office in Rolla will be delayed.  

Jamestown region: South Central Behavioral Health Clinic and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Jamestown and its outreach office in Valley City will be delayed.  

Minot region: North Central Behavioral Health Clinic and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Minot will be delayed.  

Office closure decisions are made for the safety of clients and team members and align with closures of other community clinics and government organizations.  

Weather-related office closure information can be found on the HHS Facebook and X pages and website at hhs.nd.gov. Child support customers can conduct normal business 24 hours a day on   HHS secure website at hhs.nd.gov/childsupport

The department anticipates resuming normal business hours at all locations on Dec. 9, at 10 a.m. CT.
