North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS), Adult and Aging Services Section is seeking public comment on the draft Older Americans Act State Plan on Aging for the period of Oct. 1, 2026, through Sept. 30, 2030.

Public comments will be accepted from May 1, until 5 p.m. CT on May 31.

The State Plan on Aging outlines how federal Older Americans Act funds will be used to support services for older adults across North Dakota.

These services include information and assistance through the Aging and Disability Resource Link (ADRL), congregate and home-delivered meals, legal assistance, assistive safety devices, health maintenance services and falls prevention programs. Together, these supports help older adults remain in their homes and communities.

The full State Plan on Aging draft is available for public review at hhs.nd.gov/adults-and-aging. Copies can be mailed upon request.

Comments can be submitted by mail to North Dakota Health and Human Services, Attn: Adult and Aging Services Section, 1237 W. Divide Ave., Suite 6, Bismarck, N.D., 58501, by email carechoice@nd.gov, or by phone at 855-462-5465 or ND Relay (TTY) at 800-462-5465 or 711.
