License Types

  • Lodging: every building or structure that is held out to the public as a place where sleeping accommodations are furnished to transient guests for a charge.
    • The lodging license does not apply to:
      • Single structures with five or fewer guest rooms and ten or fewer total occupants.
      • A series or group of buildings or structures containing five or fewer guest rooms and ten or fewer total occupants.
  • Bed and Breakfast: a private home that is used to provide accommodations for a charge to the public with not more than seven lodging units, where no more than two family-style meals per day are provided.
