A temporary food service establishment is any temporary food service such as a food stand that operates at a fixed location for not more than fourteen consecutive days.
A pushcart is a non-self-propelled vehicle limited to serving non-potentially hazardous food or commissary-wrapped food maintained at the proper temperatures.
Temporary food service establishments are licensed and inspected in North Dakota by either the local public health regulatory authority or by the Food and Lodging Unit. The location of operation of the temporary food service will determine the licensing and inspection authority. There is no reciprocity for licensing requirements for temporary food service establishments.
