North Dakota Health and Human Services’ (HHS) offices in Fargo, Jamestown and Valley City that directly serve clients will be closed today, Dec. 18 due to hazardous weather and road conditions. Affected offices include two regional behavioral health clinics, an outreach office and vocational rehabilitation and child support offices.  

Earlier today, HHS announced the Lake Region Behavioral Health Clinic and its outreach office in Rolla, the Northeast Behavioral Health Clinic and its outreach office in Grafton and vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Devils Lake and Grand Forks will be closed.

Affected offices:

Fargo region
Southeast Behavioral Health Clinic and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Fargo will be closed today, Dec. 18.      

Jamestown region
South Central Behavioral Health Clinic and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Jamestown and the clinic’s outreach office in Valley City will be closed today, Dec. 18.  

The North Dakota State Hospital in Jamestown is open and not affected by this closure.  
  
Office closure decisions are made for the safety of clients and team members and align with closures of other community clinics and government organizations.  

Weather-related office closure information can be found on the HHS Facebook and X pages and website at hhs.nd.gov. Child support customers can conduct normal business 24 hours a day on HHS secure website at hhs.nd.gov/childsupport.

The department anticipates resuming normal business hours at all locations on Dec. 19.
