Overview
November 2006 - The North Dakota Department of Human Services submitted an application for a federal “Money Follow the Person” rebalancing demonstration grant.
May 2007 - The federal Department of Health and Human Services - Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services awarded North Dakota an $8.9 million grant to help move eligible individuals from institutions to community settings over the next five years.
June 20, 2008 - Centers for Medicare and Medicaid approved North Dakota’s Money Follows the Person Rebalancing Demonstration Grant Operational Protocol.
