North Dakota Health and Human Services’ offices in Devils Lake, Jamestown, Minot, Rolla and Valley City that directly serve clients will be closed today, Dec. 9 due to hazardous weather and travel conditions. HHS offices in Grand Forks and Grafton will close at 11 a.m. CT.

Affected offices include the agency’s regional behavioral health clinics and their outreach offices and vocational rehabilitation and child support offices. Details appear below.

IMPORTANT: People experiencing a behavioral health crisis should call the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline for immediate help. The crisis line is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

AFFECTED OFFICES:

Devils Lake region
Lake Region Behavioral Health Clinic and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Devils Lake and the clinic’s outreach office in Rolla will be closed.

Grand Forks region
Northeast Behavioral Health Clinic and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Grand Forks and the clinic’s outreach office in Grafton will close today at 11 a.m.

Jamestown region
South Central Behavioral Health Clinic and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Jamestown and the clinic’s outreach office in Valley City will be closed.

Minot region
North Central Behavioral Health Clinic and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Minot will be closed.

Office closure decisions are made for the safety of clients and team members and align with closures of other community clinics and government organizations.

Weather-related office closure information can be found on the HHS Facebook and X pages and website at hhs.nd.gov. Child support customers can conduct normal business 24 hours a day on   HHS secure website at hhs.nd.gov/childsupport.

The department anticipates resuming normal business hours at all locations on Dec. 10 at 8 a.m. CT.
