All offices statewide are affected, including outreach offices.
North Dakota Health and Human Services offices in Bismarck, Devils Lake, Dickinson, Fargo, Grafton, Grand Forks, Jamestown, Minot, Rolla, Valley City and Williston will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 14 in response to hazardous weather and travel conditions. Affected offices include all eight of the agency’s regional human service centers and their satellite and outreach offices, and the agency’s vocational rehabilitation and child support offices. IMPORTANT: People experiencing a behavioral health crisis should call the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline or 211 for immediate help. Both are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
IMPACTED OFFICES:
Bismarck region: West Central Human Service Center and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Bismarck will be closed.
Devils Lake region: Lake Region Human Service Center in Devils Lake and its outreach office in Rolla will be closed along with the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices.
Dickinson region: Badlands Human Service Center and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Dickinson will be closed.
Fargo region: Southeast Human Service Center and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Fargo will be closed.
Grand Forks region: Northeast Human Service Center and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Grand Forks will be closed along with NEHSC’s Grafton outreach office.
Jamestown region: South Central Human Service Center and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Jamestown and SCHSC’s outreach office in Valley City will be closed.
Minot region: North Central Human Service Center and the regional child support and
vocational rehabilitation offices in Minot will be closed.
Williston region: Northwest Human Service Center in Williston and the regional child support and
vocational rehabilitation offices will be closed.
Clients with previously scheduled appointments are being contacted.
HHS COVID-19 Testing Locations CLOSED
HHS COVID-19 testing locations in Bismarck, Dickinson and Fargo will be closed Dec. 14-15. Visit hhs.nd.gov/health/covidtest for information about other testing locations or contact the Public Health Hotline, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., at (866) 207-2880 for questions related to COVID-19.

Closure decisions are made for the safety of clients and team members and align with closures of other community clinics and government organizations.
The agency will determine tomorrow if human service centers or other offices will remain closed due to hazardous weather and travel conditions.
Child support customers can conduct normal business 24-hours a day on that division’s secure website at www.childsupportnd.com.
