North Dakota Rapid Antigen Test Program
To further mitigate against the spread of COVID-19 by identifying asymptomatic carriers, the federal government this fall supplied states and territories with about 100 million rapid antigen tests to distribute. North Dakota currently has a large supply of these tests.
Working together with the “Whole Community,” we can bolster our testing program and, in the process, slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect our most vulnerable citizens. The rapid antigen testing process is simple, fast and portable. Results are identified in about 15 minutes. By using a serial testing strategy within a defined group of people, we can identify asymptomatic people early, get them into isolation and remove them from the work environment.
North Dakota now is offering the ability to use rapid antigen testing to these groups. If interested in incorporating a screening strategy at your facility, please contact your group program manager:
Actions Required to be Eligible to Receive and Administer Tests for Non-Health Care Settings
After contacting a program manager, testing groups must complete the checklist posted below to participate in rapid antigen testing for COVID-19. Once complete, the checklist can be submitted to the testing group program managers.
